Enjoyip Scoring System™

A Unified Framework for Evaluating Fictional Power and Cultural Impact

The Enjoyip Scoring System™ is a structured, multi-dimensional evaluation framework designed to analyze fictional characters, weapons, franchises, and real-world experiences. It combines quantitative attributes, weighted scoring models, and scenario-based analysis to provide consistent, transparent, and comparable results across different universes.

Why This System Exists

Power scaling and popularity debates across anime, movies, and games are often subjective, inconsistent, and difficult to compare across universes. The Enjoyip system was built to solve this by introducing a standardized structure, multi-factor scoring, and repeatable analysis.

Standardized Structure
A consistent evaluation template so results are comparable across universes.
Multi-factor Scoring
Weighted models across power, influence, and context—not single-stat takes.
Repeatable & Explainable
Transparent rules and formulas that scale as we add more entities.

Unified Evaluation Principle

All Enjoyip scoring systems are built on a shared principle: multi-dimensional models that combine attributes, weighted factors, and contextual scenarios.

“Fictional entities can be evaluated through multi-dimensional models that combine attributes, weighted factors, and contextual scenarios.”

System Architecture

Two complementary systems: Impact evaluation and Combat evaluation.

B. Battle Evaluation System™

A unified methodology for evaluating battles across franchises. It powers both Character Battle Score and Weapon Battle Score.

Character
Enjoyip Battle Score
Focuses on character base strength plus matchup effectiveness under a default scenario. Used for character rankings and the character battle simulator.
Weapon
Weapon Battle Score (WBS)
Focuses on weapon combat stats plus mechanic traits, hax rules, and scenario context. Used for weapon rankings and scenario comparisons.

How the Battle Evaluation System Works

Both Character and Weapon methodologies follow the same idea: establish a strong baseline, then model interaction and scenario effects.

Layer 1
Base Strength
  • Characters: Base Score (5 dimensions)
  • Weapons: Base Combat Score (stat layer)
  • Normalization for cross-franchise comparison
Layer 2
Interaction Effects
  • Matchup interactions and counterplay
  • Hax override rules when relevant
  • Weapons additionally include mechanic traits
Layer 3
Scenario Context
  • Default ranking assumptions for comparability
  • Simulator variables (info, range, prep, etc.)
  • Multiple win conditions and execution paths
Interpretation

Scores are designed to be read as structured comparisons: a high base score indicates raw strength, while the effectiveness component explains how consistently that strength converts into wins under a defined scenario.

Character Battle Score
Default ranking uses a blended score: 70% Base + 30% Effectiveness.
Weapon Battle Score
Weapons include mechanics and may apply reliability adjustments when data quality varies.

Limitations & Ongoing Debates

While the Enjoyip system aims for consistency, several challenges remain and are continuously refined.

  • Cross-universe scaling differences
  • Balancing raw power vs abilities (Hax)
  • Scenario-dependent outcomes
