Methodology Overview
This simulator generates a custom ranking by sorting a large character dataset using the Enjoyip Battle Score framework. Your selections below filter the pool (Origin / Role / Gender) and choose the ranking dimension (All Stats or a single dimension), then Top X limits the number of results.
For formal definitions of the five dimensions and tier anchors, see the methodology link.
Framework
Enjoyip Battle Score methodology Rankings are built from the same five dimensions used in battles: Attack Potency, Speed, Durability, Combat Intelligence, and Abilities & Hax. Selecting a single dimension ranks by that stat only.
Filters
- Origin: filters the dataset by IP category (Anime / Movie / Game). “All Origins” keeps everything.
- Role: maps to character roles in the dataset (Protagonist / Antagonist / Anti-Hero / Supporting).
- Gender: filters by the recorded gender attribute when available.
Ranking & Output
- Rank By: choose All Stats (overall) or a single stat dimension for specialized lists.
- Top X: number of results to return (clamped to 3–50). Larger lists take longer to scan and compare.
- View Mode: switch between Quick View and Detailed View after generating results.
- Sharing: after you run, the URL includes query parameters for reproducible rankings. Pages with query parameters are set to noindex, follow.

How are the characters ranked?
Characters are ranked based on the Enjoyip Battle Score framework. If you select "ALL STATS", they are ranked by their overall Battle Score. If you select a specific dimension like "Speed" or "Attack Potency", they are ranked strictly by their value in that dimension.
What do the Origin, Role, and Gender filters do?
These filters allow you to narrow down the dataset. For example, you can create a ranking of only "Female Anime Villains" by setting Origin to Anime, Role to Villain, and Gender to Female. The ranking will instantly recalculate based on the filtered group.
Can I share a specific ranking I generated?
Yes. When you generate a ranking, the URL updates with your chosen filters, metric, and Top X limit. You can copy the URL and share it, and anyone who clicks it will see the exact same ranking setup.
Why isn't a certain character in the ranking?
A character might be missing if they do not match the filters you applied, if they rank below your "Top X" limit, or if they have not yet been evaluated and added to our database.
