Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle
Introduction
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is the latest feature film in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise and the first installment of a three-part cinematic trilogy adapting the series' final arc. Produced by ufotable, the film continues Tanjiro Kamado's battle against Muzan Kibutsuji and the demons of the Twelve Kizuki. The story begins immediately after the events of the Hashira Training Arc, as the Demon Slayer Corps enters the Infinity Castle for the final confrontation. The film was released theatrically in Japan on July 18, 2025, followed by international theatrical releases beginning in August and September 2025. In North America, it originally opened on September 12, 2025 and returned to theaters on March 6, 2026. The film became available digitally through Crunchyroll and for digital purchase in select territories on July 28, 2026. The Infinity Castle is the central setting of the film. Unlike the familiar locations of previous Demon Slayer arcs, the castle is an enormous and constantly shifting fortress controlled by the demon Nakime. Its unusual architecture allows the characters to become separated across different parts of the castle, creating multiple simultaneous battles between the Demon Slayer Corps and the Upper Rank demons. The Infinity Castle therefore serves not only as a location but also as the framework connecting the film's major confrontations. Infinity Castle is the first film in a three-part cinematic trilogy adapting the final arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The trilogy follows the concluding battles of the manga and represents the cinematic culmination of the anime series. Film 1 — Infinity Castle: The Demon Slayer Corps enters Muzan's fortress and the final battle begins. Film 2 — Upcoming: The second installment of the Infinity Castle trilogy has been confirmed as part of the three-film project. Film 3 — Upcoming: The trilogy will conclude the cinematic adaptation of the final battle.
