What is Spy x Family about?

It follows a master spy named Twilight who must create a fake family to infiltrate an elite school. Unknowingly, he adopts a telepathic daughter (Anya) and marries an assassin wife (Yor). They hide their true identities from each other while trying to act like a normal family.

Do Loid and Yor know each other's secret identities?

No. As of the current anime and manga chapters, neither Loid nor Yor knows the other's secret profession. Only their daughter, Anya (who is a telepath), knows everyone's secrets.

Does Anya tell them she is a telepath?

No, Anya keeps her telepathy a secret because she fears being returned to the orphanage or laboratory if her parents find out she is 'different'.

Will there be a Season 3?

Yes! Season 3 has been officially announced and is currently in production. It will continue adapting the manga following the events of Season 2 and the Code: White movie.

Who is the main villain?

The primary antagonist is Donovan Desmond, the reclusive chairman of the National Unity Party, who threatens the peace between Westalis and Ostania. However, there are various other antagonists like terrorist groups and rival assassins.

Is Spy x Family appropriate for kids?

Generally yes, it is rated TV-14. While it contains some violence (Yor's assassinations) and mild language, the core themes are family-friendly and comedic. Parents should exercise discretion for very young children.

Do Loid and Yor fall in love?

While their marriage starts as a sham for convenience, they genuinely care for each other and Anya. The series slowly develops their relationship, with many moments hinting at growing romantic feelings.

What is Operation Strix?

Operation Strix is Loid's mission to get close to Donovan Desmond. The plan requires him to marry and have a child enroll in Eden Academy, the same school Desmond's son attends, to attend social gatherings for parents.

Where can I watch Spy x Family?

You can watch Spy x Family on Crunchyroll, Hulu, Netflix (in some regions), and other major streaming platforms.

Is the manga finished?

No, the manga is still ongoing and is serialized bi-weekly on Shonen Jump+.
