Minions Media & Works

Minions & Monsters brings the Minions back for their third feature film, taking them to the golden age of Hollywood. This time, two new Minions, James and Henry, become unlikely movie stars before setting out to make their own monster movie. Minions & Monsters expands the Minions franchise with a new setting, new characters, and a movie-within-a-movie concept. The story introduces new Minions James and Henry, while moving the franchise into 1920s Hollywood and the early days of cinema. The film also marks the third installment in the standalone Minions movie series, following Minions (2015) and Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022). New characters: James & Henry — two brand-new Minions who discover a passion for filmmaking and decide to create their own monster movie instead of searching for another evil master. Goomi — a mysterious green monster summoned by the Minions during their attempt to create a monster movie, who becomes part of the chaos that follows.

Inspired by their love of movies, the two Minions set out to make their own monster film. But when their attempt to summon movie monsters goes wildly wrong, James, Henry, and their fellow Minions must work together to stop the chaos they have unleashed.
